Welcome to the home page for Womens Rugby in the ACT.

2008 Women's National Training Squad announced - 5 players from ACT including;

Pip Butt, Lindsay Morgan, Kim Wilson, Caroline Vakalahi and Megan Valler. 

Members within this squad, as part of the National Women's Program, will be provided with training programs and instructors from the beginning of February through to July.

Megan Valler (Royals) was called up to the Australian Squad - the Wallaroos - for their tour of New Zealand. For details of the tour visit www.rugby.com.au (under fixtures and results) 

JOINT CHAMPIONS!! THERE WAS NOTHING BETWEEN TUGGERANONG AND ROYALS IN THE ACT WOMENS 2007 GRAND FINAL - TEAMS WERE DECLARED JOINT WINNERS AFTER THE MATCH WAS STILL A DRAW 22-22 AFTER EXTRA TIME. WELL DONE TO BOTH TEAMS FOR A BRILLIANT, ENTERTAINING END TO THE 2007 SEASON! Photo's from the match are published

Representative Schools Girls Rugby in Canberra

The ACT Representative Schools Girls Team will be playing a one off match against NSW on Thursday 16th August. Kick off is 1.30pm at Griffith Oval, get down and show your support if you can.

Three ACT players selected for the 2007 Wallaroo Squad  

Kim Wilson and Lindsay Morgan both continue their representative rugby careers by being selected for the 2007 Wallaroos Team. The team was selected after the 2007 Womens National Competition, where the Brumbies Women finished 5th overall. Megan Vellar was selected on the shaddow squad, and will train with the girls as they prepare for a tour of New Zealand in October this year.

 The ACT Women's Representative Team had an altered calander in 2007. With games being cancelled due to numbers and bad weather, the first competitive game the team played was at the 2007 National Championships. They started by facing the Sydney 1st XV Women - one of the strongest teams in Australia.
